Buses from Geneva Airport with Bus Routes and Times

TPG urban buses in their blue and white livery leave every 8 to 15 minutes at peak times. Passengers arriving at Geneva Airport can pick up free tickets from distributors in Baggage Reclaim. The Unireso (www.unireso.com) ticket is for Zone 10, for Geneva Canton, and is only valid for 80 minutes. It includes not only buses but also the airport to Cornavin train journey into central Geneva.

TPG buses (www.tpg.ch) offer speedy transfers into the city centre via lines 5 and 10. Bus line 5 leaves the airport for the Palexpo Exhibition Ground, then the Palace of Nations, Vidollet, Cornavin train station, Bel-Air, Hôpital, the Museum, Malagnou and Thônex-Vallard.

Bus line 10 starts from GVA for Bouchet, Chamilles, Gare Cornavin, Bel-Air and finishes at Rive. Buses take 18 minutes to Rive (12 stops).

Other city bus lines: 23, 28, 50, 56, 57 and 66, all stop within a short walk of the terminals.

Airport Express Bus (A1 to A6 lines Aérobus morning service) starts before 6.00, another free service for GVA passengers. Line 15 / Acacias stops at the Nations buildings. All bus stops carry the Aérobus logo in the city.

Eurobus (www.swiss-express.ch) leaves daily from St Gallen, going via Zurich and Lausanne to Geneva Airport. The first bus leaves St Gallen's train station (Lagerstrasse) at 6.55, arriving at Geneva Airport at 14.15. Eurobus desks are at Terminal 1, next to the Montreux Jazz Shop. A trip by Eurobus to Geneva bus station starts from 5.00 euros per person. In the city buses halt at the Rue Francois-Bonivard stop, just across from the Anglican church. The Eurobus stop is close to the stop for line 1, the 'Mont-Blanc' coach.

Ouibus (www.ouibus.com) goes regularly to Chamonix, tickets start at 19.00 euros per person.

Altibus (www.altibus.com) goes to Val d'Isere, Tignes and other ski resorts from Geneva Airport. Simply Transfers (www.simply-transfers.net) leaves several times a day for the Three Valleys ski resorts St Martin de Belle, Les Menuires and Val Thorens during the winter season.
