AVIS Rental Cars at Geneva Airport

On the Swiss side of Geneva Airport the Avis car rental desk opens daily from 6.30 to 23.30, tel +41 22 929 0330. This station offers 24-hour returns to customers. Car rental desks are located in the Arrivals area of Terminal 1 – about 500 meters from the P51 car park, where pick up and drop off of rental vehicles takes place. A rental car shuttle connects P51 with the terminals (T 1 and T2).

Renters aged less than 30 and more than 70 must provide their date of birth – their choice may be limited, as they may only rent from certain car groups and may be subject to additional fees (eg. Young Drivers fee). Mini and Economy vehicles can be rented from drivers aged just 19.

The Avis rate shown online includes unlimited kilometres, partial Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection with excess. What does that mean? If you rent a Volkswagen Polo or similar from Avis Geneva Airport your liability in case of damage or collision or theft would be 1,500 CHF. A VW Polo can be rented by customers aged just 19 years. The basic rate also includes all local taxes and airport fees.
